We will make up our own minds based upon what we have heard and seen.

The 5 Points Of Calvinism. Free Will, Predestination, or Both?
There are two basic views in Christianity of how we come to salvation:
1. By free will;
2. By God's Sovereign Power.
Some will say that one, the other, or a combination of these two are at work in our salvation.
We will review "The Five Points of Calvinism" to consider the creation, fall, and redemption of humanity.
If asked, Laura's position is that both views are incomplete due to their man-centered focus in time on earth in the first creation. Eternity pre-existed the beginning of the first day of Genesis creation. God pre-existed our creation here and so did the angels. Eternity does not end during the time of the first creation. There are more things to consider than free will & God's Sovereignty in God's plan of salvation.
Laura will read this book to the study group. After the book is fully read, we can briefly discuss. We will make up our own minds based upon what we have heard and seen.
Big Bad Wolves Hiding Under Bible Covers. Only John's Gospel or 4 Gospels?
We are told there are 4 gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John.
We will study "Big Bad Wolves Hiding Under Bible Covers".
Do Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John tell the same gospel of salvation? Do we need all 4? Or did John give us all we need and all God willed?
John says he has written in his gospel book all we need.
John 20:30 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. 31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus [Yahshua] is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.
If asked, Laura's position is that the Gospel of John is distinct, unique, and the only authentic gospel.

Genesis 2 All In A Day's Work. Genesis 1, Genesis 2, or Both?
We are told there are 2 creation stories and both are right. One is in Genesis 1. The other is in Genesis 2.
We will study "Genesis 2 All In A Day's Work".
Are they both right? Different authors wrote Genesis 1 and Genesis 2. Genesis 1 is a 6 day creation. Genesis 2 is a 1 day creation.
Male and female are created fully equal in Genesis 1 and bodily at the same time from the same earth.
But, in Genesis 2, man is created first. Woman is created last from the body of man to meet his wants and needs. Can these 2 different creation stories both be true?
If asked, Laura's position is that Genesis 1 is authentic. Genesis 2 contradicts Genesis 1 in every way. They cannot both be true.
